Mexican Salad


1. Greens - Lettuce
2. Veggies - chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, corn, chopped avocado
3. Protein - boiled black beans
4. Crunch - tortilla chips
5. Cheese - none
6. Dressing - mix together chopped coriander, chopped jalapenos, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic salt, salt and black pepper

Strawberry Spinach Salad


1. Greens - baby spinach
2. Veggies/fruits - strawberries
3. Protein - none
4. Crunch - dried cranberries and walnuts
5. Cheese - crumbled feta
6. Dressing - lemon juice, honey and little bit of salt

Add a boiled egg on the side for protein.

Pineapple-Paneer Salad



1. Greens - none
2. Veggies/fruits - pineapple, cucumber, tomato, onion, red bell pepper (sauteed in olive oil), coriander
3. Protein - Boiled kidney beans
4. Crunch - dried cranberries and walnuts
5. Cheese - Cottage cheese a.k.a. Paneer cubes (sauteed in olive oil)
6. Dressing - mayonnaise + Black pepper + salt

In a pan heat olive oil, add paneer cubes and red bell pepper and saute for about 1 minute and then add it in salad.
This dressing is very mild, add chilli flakes or cayenne pepper to spice it up.

chic p salad


This one is a personal favorite. I ate it at sweetgreen and tried at home.

1. Greens - baby spinach
2. Veggies - chickpeas, cucumber, roasted red pepper
3. Protein - baked falafal Recipe
4. Crunch - pita chips
5. Cheese - feta cheese
6. Dressing - Hummus + lemon + cilantro dressing

Add salt, cayenne pepper and black pepper powder as per taste.

Salad 101

I am so happy to finally add Salad category to my blog. Salad making is 6 ingredients, simple and quick process. You end up having a nutritious, full and light meal. Stay tuned for recipes.

Take a salad bowl,

1. Base it with greens
2. Add veggies/fruits
3. Add protein
4. Top it with crunchy item
5. Add cheese
6. Add dressing

Mix it well.


We can bring variations ingredients and make a side dish in meal as well!
